The beautiful array of colors and unique design patterns in an insect’s eyes can only be seen when magnified for the human eye. Their compound eyes are made up of thousands of mini eyes that come together to form patterns that are truly awesome.
Not only are their eyes beautiful, but each pattern gives them a unique personality. We believe our customers will choose Vuliwear designs that mirror their personality, so we thoughtfully named each style to reflect a particular mood or personality.
We are proud to be the first brand to co-partner with ESSILOR® SUN SOLUTION™. Together we were able to bring this unique concept to life in beautiful shades for both men and women with a bit of swag. Our high-quality polarized Nylon lenses reduce glare for better color, clarity, detail and provide 100% UV protection from the sun when worn correctly. All of our sunglasses are made in Italy.
Vuliwear® sunglasses are unisex and designed with comfort in mind. Light-weight metal frames will make you forget you even have them on. We purposely selected the classic aviator style that is the most popular and flattering to most face shapes for both men and women.
Each design is initially sketched on paper from photographs of a magnified insect eyes and then transformed into a mirror coating onto polarized lenses.
Who knew such beauty was buzzing all around us?
Do you wear sunblock or sunscreen?
Do you ever think to protect your eyes the same way you protect your skin?
Close your eyes and imagine losing your vision…UV rays cause cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration (retina deterioration) and skin cancer (10% of cancers found near eyes). Bright sunlight can trigger migraines and headaches. Wearing sunglasses can reduce frequency and intensity of pain. We should be protecting our eyes all year round, even on cloudy days.
Vuliwear can help you remember to protect your eyes on a daily basis, by sending alerts to your phone letting you know when UV rays are high.
- 49% of U.S. adults don’t know that UV exposure increases the likelihood of cataract formation
- 43% don’t know that UV exposure can cause cancer of the eye or eyelid
- 36% don’t know that eyes can be sunburned

The month of May is UV Awareness month and June 27 is National Sunglasses Day.
Our polarized lenses reduce glare for better color, clarity/detail and provide close to 100% UV protection from the sun. The sun emits UV rays and unprotected, prolonged exposure to these rays can cause serious vision problems.
Vuliwear is committed to helping raise awareness about the risks of exposure to UV rays. Because UV exposure happens over a lifetime and doesn’t always produce immediate symptoms, people of all ages must be aware of the negative impact sunlight can have on our eyes—protect yourself –wear your Vuli’s all year long.
We believe in giving back. A portion of our proceeds will go the Nothing But Nets Foundation. Nothing But Nets is a global grassroots campaign to raise awareness, funds, and voices to fight malaria. Malaria is caused by parasites transmitted by mosquitoes.

UVA, UVB, & UVC
There are three types of ultraviolet radiation. UVC is fully absorbed by the atmosphere and UVB is somewhat absorbed, but the most potent form, UVA is not at all blocked and can cause serious damage to the skin and eyes.
Do all sunglasses block UV radiation?
No. Make sure to check for indication that the sunglasses you’re purchasing will block this harmful radiation.
